How is the CAEC different from the GED

The CAEC and GED cover the same five subject areas:

• Language Arts (Reading & Writing)
• Mathematics (With & Without Calculator)
• Science
• Social Studies

However, the CAEC includes more Canadian-focused content, is available digitally, and in some jurisdictions, still offers a paper-based option.

Please note: Cansego offers CAEC prep to help you get ready for the test, but we are not involved in the testing process. All testing is handled through the official CAEC portal.
